By commissioning me in any way, you are agreeing to these terms of service stated below!Statements can be subject to change if discussed with myself, ( the artist ), prior to beginning the commission.1: GENERAL TERMSAll pieces will include a Watermark, made by LuckyBlackChat, that you may NOT remove.
I might record the drawing process and post it to my various social media.
Prices are subject to change based on demand!
I have the right to reject any order that I do not feel comfortable working on, for ANY reason.
Please provide me with clear reference sheets!
Talk to me politely and clearly, I’m only human!2: PAYMENTThe only currency I currently accept is USD THROUGH PAYPAL, OR VENMO.
Commissions can be paid either 100% up front, or 50% after sketch approval and 50% after lineart.
DO NOT send me any form of payment ( unless I have known you for a long period of time ), before I have agreed to the commission and request that you send me the payment.
Payments CAN NOT be made in the form of cash or check.3: PROCESSI will notify you when I have begun working on your piece(s), which will be AFTER I receive your payment. You therefore lose the rights to a refund unless discussed prior or an emergency occurs.
While I am working on your piece(s), I will make revisions with your help to make sure everything is to your satisfaction!
During these revisions, you will be sent WIPS which will also include my Watermark!
The time it takes to finish your piece(s) varies greatly depending on my free time! It could vary anywhere from a couple days, to a couple weeks, or a month, depending on the complexity of your pieces as well!
If anything arises that will slow the progress of the initially estimated delivery time, I will make you aware!
Once the piece, or pieces, are finished you will receive a full resolution image!4: REVISIONSYou get 3 rounds of changes ( depending on the piece ), included in the price.
A fee will be added if you’d like something changed on the final drawing- unless a misunderstanding on my end has been made.
If you wish for me to change something in the drawing you have previously approved, I WILL CHARGE YOU A FEE TO CHANGE IT. THE AMOUNT CHARGED VARIES ON THE CHANGE REQUESTED.
If your reference is unclear to begin with, changes will come at an extra charge.5: COPYRIGHT/ USAGE POLICY:I, SUGARCOOKIE, ( THE ARTIST ), CLAIM THE RIGHTS TO THE PRODUCED ARTWORKS AS MY OWN WORK, NOT THE BUYER. THEREFORE, I AM ALLOWED TO USE THE WATERMARKED ARTWORK TO:
Promote myself with it anywhere, and everywhere, unless asked politely otherwise.
Publish portfolios that include commissioned works.THE BUYER ( CUSTOMER ) IS ALLOWED TO:Use the commissioned piece for personal use- upload it wherever you desire, BUT GIVE APPROPRIATE CREDIT.
Print the artwork and claim the character(s) as your own, but not the artwork itself.THE FOLLOWING IS CONSIDERED COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT:CLAIMING THE ARTWORK AS YOUR OWN.
REMOVING MY WATERMARK FROM ANY AND ALL PIECES.
ALTERING THE ARTWORK WITHOUT MY CONSENT.6: CUSTOMER SATISFACTION:I will do everything in my power to make my customers happy!
If you have any issue with anything regarding the commissioned piece(s), please tell me as soon as possible so we can reach a solution!
If you would like me to not post your artwork anywhere, this can be discussed!7: REFUND/ CANCELLATION POLICY:The client is NOT allowed a refund once I begin working on the piece.
If for any reason I am unable to finish your piece, due to an unforeseen predicament or an emergency, a partial refund can be discussed depending on the circumstances!WHAT DO YOU GET?Drafts/ mockups that you must decide which one to progress with. ( Depending on the complexity of the pieces there might be fewer or more drafts. )
Sketch and or final sketches that MUST be approved before I continue working.
Insight and involvement in color schemes.
